A week had passed since the leaders promised to meet at the Gate. The Human Leader, Rider Leader, and Harmon Chief arrived, but the De-trom Leader and V.I. were missing. They found a clue left by V.I. pointing northeast. The Human Leader gave everyone gas masks filled with Kroma energy, and they said goodbye to their people.
The Human Leader said,
“Let’s follow the signs and see where they lead us.”
Harmon Chief noticed,
“Look, there’s blood on the road. Someone’s been hurt.”
They followed the signs through the dense forest and rocky ground. The trail of blood and clues led them to a storage facility that looked very futuristic. The items didn’t look like the electronics they knew.
Rider Leader asked,
“What is this place? These items… they seem modern.”
Harmon Chief said,
“We need to find V.I. and De-trom Leader. They must be here somewhere.”
They carefully walked inside. While Rider Leader was checking the building, they found V.I. and the De-trom Leader unconscious, lying in a corner, weakened from his injuries.
V.I. screamed,
“Help us!”
“What happened to him?”
The three leaders checked De-trom’s wound.
The Harmon Leader examined and said,
“He is too weak now and needs to recover immediately! Is there a first aid box here?”
While everyone started searching for a first aid box, the Human Leader suddenly thought of something and said,
“I should give him the gas mask! The Kroma energy in the gas mask can heal him!”
Rider Leader tried to stop him,
“No! You cannot breathe without the mask! You will risk your life!”
“There is no time to think about myself! We cannot let him be like this!”
The Human Leader was emotional, remembering when he lost his family.
The Human Leader took off the gas mask and put it on the De-trom Leader, allowing him to absorb the Kroma energy. While everyone worried about the Human Leader, he tried not to breathe as long as he could. The De-trom Leader slowly woke up, the power of Kroma energy working its magic.
De-trom Leader, still not fully recovered but feeling better, realized the gas mask on his face and understood that the Human Leader had saved him. Embarrassed, he gave the gas mask back to the Human and said reluctantly,
“Thank you.”
“But what brought you here…?”
asked De-trom Leader.
Rider Leader spoke honestly,
“We couldn’t see you at the Gate and followed the trail of blood here. And one more thing, we have finally made a few Pro Gamer’s Items but don’t know how to use them.”
The three leaders made more Pro Gamer’s Items after getting a Magical Gaming Headset.
V.I. said,
“We think you can help!”
De-trom Leader thought for a moment and replied,
“You came to the right person.”
Usually, he would not disclose his secret to others, but he knew that the Human Leader saved him out of pure kindness.
He led them to a hidden room within the storage facility, a place filled with ancient machinery designed to enhance Kroma Energy items. The room was full of advanced devices, dominated by a central console that seemed to control everything. The walls were covered with intricate blueprints and plans of various Pro Gamer items, explaining how they worked and could be improved.
De-trom Leader explained,
“I don’t know who built this place, but I discovered it some time ago and have been studying and experimenting with these artifacts or items. Place the items here, and one of you goes into the console.”
They put down the Pro Gamer’s items as De-trom directed. The Human Leader decided to walk inside, and the machinery sprang to life. It whirred and hummed, equipping the Pro Gamer’s items. The central console displayed real-time data, showing the power levels of the items increasing dramatically. Lights flickered, and the room buzzed with energy as the enhancements were completed.
As the Human Leader walked out, the screen in front of them suddenly displayed an image of the Human Leader equipped with the Pro Gamer’s Items and various numbers.
V.I. whispered,
“What are those? So, after you put on the Pro Gamer’s Items, there will be an image showing you with the items and the… numbers?”
The Rider Leader spoke,
“I’ve seen documents mentioning these. After equipping the Pro Gamer’s Items, you can see your score on a display! I think this screen is it! The rarer your Pro Gamer’s Items, the higher your score. We all know that KCU is a world built on fair distribution based on contribution. So, the higher your score, the more rewards you’ll eventually receive.”
The Harmon Chief said,
“That makes sense!”
“I wanna try too, pa-ha! Let me put on those Pro Gamer’s Items!”
said V.I.
Suddenly, the Rider Leader glanced out a small window and gasped,
“Look, up there!”
A huge hot air balloon decorated with mysterious symbols appeared in the sky not far away. It floated closer, releasing small, glowing objects that pulsed with energy as they fell.
Harmon Chief exclaimed,
“What are those?”
De-trom Leader, now fully conscious, observed,
“We need to check out that balloon. It might hold the key to our next move.”
Intrigued by the mysterious scores and the balloon's appearance, the leaders began their journey toward the hot air balloon, eager to uncover its secrets and the potential it held for their future.
